A Recovery Center Built on Compassion and Clinical Excellence
We know that it can take a lot of courage to make that first phone call to seek help. We want to assure you that from the very first day you reach out to us, we will provide you with warmth, respect, and a judgment-free environment. As a licensed addiction treatment center in New Jersey, Meridian Recovery is committed to assisting individuals and their families in overcoming the cycle of addiction and finding their way back toward long-term recovery.
Our therapists, clinicians, and support services all collaborate to develop the best individualized treatment plan for each client we serve. We also take into consideration any co-occurring mental health issues someone may be struggling with beyond just the actual addiction itself. Our center provides therapy for alcohol, opioid dependence or other drug use, and co-occurring mental health disorders like anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This means we can treat not only your addiction, but any underlying causes that might be behind it, allowing you to heal both physically and mentally and achieve long-term recovery.
Addiction Treatment Programs Tailored to Where You Are
There is no single path toward recovery from addiction. For this reason, Meridian Recovery offers you a full continuum of care. We make it as easy as possible for you to receive treatment regardless of where you are entering or transitioning from.
01
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
If you need full-day structured support, but are stable enough not to require 24/hour care, our PHP is the level of care best suited to your needs. This is an intensive, five-day-per-week program consisting of individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric assessment, medication management, and skills training related to managing stress and preventing relapse.
02
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
For those needing to balance recovery with work, school, or family obligations, our flexible IOP offers the same depth and intensity of a clinical program without the full-day requirement. You will attend IOP from three to five days per week, depending upon how you are progressing, applying the skills you are developing to your daily routine as you proceed with your recovery.
03
Outpatient Treatment (OP)
Our outpatient services provide a less intensive level of treatment, suited for those who have gained a solid foundation in their recovery but would still benefit from extra support. You will generally receive one to two sessions each week, with services ranging from individual therapy to family therapy, and continued medication management if appropriate.
04
Aftercare
The end of the formal program is not the end of your recovery. Planning for aftercare services protects your recovery and ensures you have a solid framework and ongoing support for all the progress you’ve made during your time in treatment.
Evidence-Based Therapies and a Holistic Approach to Healing
Effective addiction treatment requires that the underlying emotional and psychological issues associated with substance use be addressed. We have developed a holistic method for treating the whole person by integrating clinical treatment with wellness practices to address all three areas of recovery: mind, body, and spirit.
The treatment options we provide include individual, group, and family therapy, as well as relapse prevention programming and trauma-informed care. In addition to our clinical offerings, we also offer holistic therapies including art therapy, music therapy, and yoga. We believe that the foundation for long-term sobriety is built on self-understanding, community, and building the right skills, and every therapy we offer directly supports you in achieving those goals.
Paying for Treatment Shouldn’t Add to Your Stress
We work with many private insurance companies, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Aetna. Our team is here to help you quickly verify your insurance and thoroughly explain your benefits so there are no surprises.

Frequently Asked Questions About Drug & Alcohol Rehab in New Jersey
How much does a rehab center cost in New Jersey?
Costs vary depending on the style of treatment and duration. Most private insurers will cover a significant portion of the costs. Our team can verify your insurance for free, so you know exactly what your responsibility is before making a commitment.
How long is rehab for drugs usually?
There is no single answer for how long treatment services will last, since each plan is based on the individual. PHP typically lasts several weeks, while IOP is several months. Research shows that staying in treatment longer leads to better long-term outcomes.
Is it possible to fully recover from addiction?
Yes. Recovery is possible. Many individuals go on to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives. Addiction is a chronic but manageable condition, and long-term sobriety is achievable through integrated treatment and continuous support.
Can you self-pay for rehab?
Yes. If you do not have insurance or prefer not to use it, we offer self-pay options. Contact our admissions team so we can help you find a path to treatment.
How do you qualify for rehab?
You will need an assessment of your drug or alcohol use, mental health, and current level of functioning. If substance use is negatively affecting your life, that is reason enough to reach out.
Can a rehab center refuse a patient?
Centers conduct clinical assessments to ensure they can safely provide the appropriate level of care. In some cases, a patient may need a higher level of care, like medical detox or inpatient care, before entering our program. We will always be forthright and help you find the right resource for your situation.
